Abstract

The invention provides a method for selecting a CSI (channel state information) process for a coordinated multi-point user, and base stations for execution of the abovementioned method. The method includes: obtaining a communication load of a wireless communication system; comparing the communication load with one or more preset load thresholds to determine the load degree of the wireless communication system, and determining different configured CSI processes of base stations according to different load degrees. The method and the base stations provided by the invention can adapt to various wireless communication environments, can provide relatively good system performance regardless of a network environment with a high communication load or a low communication load, and can also effectively reduce complexity of network scheduling when the communication load is low.
