The golden red metal glaze is prepared from the following raw materials: soda feldspar, quartz powder, kaoline, calcspar, miniumite, clinker, vanadium pentoxide, copper oxide and manganese oxide through the steps of feeding the raw materials into a ball grinder to carry out wet milling; sieving and modulating into glaze slip of 50-55 baume degrees; dipping a green body with glaze, wherein the thickness of a glaze layer is 0.4-0.6mm; feeding to a roller kiln to burn after drying; burning in an oxidizing atmosphere at 1180-1200 DEG C, wherein the burning cycle is 4-5 hours; preserving heat at high temperature for 0.5-1 hour; and finally, naturally cooling to room temperature. The golden red metal glaze produced by the preparation method is bright in glaze surface, and free of obvious feel in touch, and forms a natural texture pattern, the glaze surface of the product is seemed to be covered with a golden red mesh article, and a vivid bright golden red feeling is displayed to people.
