The method comprises the steps that the source tracing information contained in the original electronic identification on the body of the domestic animal is associated with a main electronic identification which is conveyed along with the body of the domestic animal; when the body of the domestic animal is split, a sub electronic identification is additionally arranged on each piece of meat which is obtained through splitting, and the source tracing information associated with the main electronic identification and the processing and transferring information of the pieces of meat are associated onto the sub electronic identifications; package labels containing all associated information on the sub electronic identifications are manufactured according to the associated information of the sub electronic identifications additionally arranged on the pieces of meat; the sub electronic identifications on the pieces of meats are removed, each piece of meat is packaged into a packaged meat product, and the package labels are arranged on the packaged meat products.
