Abstract

An on-vehicle electrical component supporting device is provided. The front end part of a longitudinal beam arranged on the engine compartment side is equipped with a side pillar protruding upwards. A fixing device of a support power unit is fixed to the rear portion of the longitudinal beam. Electrical components are disposed between the side pillar and the fixing device. The fixing device comprises a fixing member having a fixed rubber member and a fixing support for fixing the fixing member onto the longitudinal beam. The fixing member is provided with an inclined surface where the front end portion is higher than the rear end portion. The supporting device comprises supporting components for supporting the electrical components against the vehicle body. The support components comprise a first supporting component and a second supporting component. The first support component stretches across the fixing support in front of the inclined surface, with the outer end part directly or indirectly being connected to the longitudinal beam. The second supporting component stretches forwards from the first supporting component, with the front end part being connected to the side pillar. When the second supporting component is pushed backwards by an external force, the outer end portion of the first supporting component breaks away from the longitudinal beam and moves backwards on the inclined surface, and the second supporting component enables an engine enclosure to protrude upwards near the fixing position.
