Embodiment Construction

[0044] Aiming at the five-speaker system placed on the same spherical surface, the present invention proposes a method for simplifying the five-speaker system into a four-speaker system. The core technology of the method is to use four speakers to synthesize a virtual sound source. The following is combined with the accompanying drawings and The specific embodiments illustrate the technical solutions of the present invention in detail.

[0045] An embodiment aims at reducing a multi-channel system comprising five loudspeakers SpO, Spl, Sp2, Sp3, Sp4 to a multi-channel system comprising four loudspeakers Spl, Sp2, Sp3, Sp4. If five loudspeakers are located on the same spherical surface, there are four loudspeakers Sp1, Sp2, Sp3, and Sp4 among the five loudspeakers. The one speaker Sp0 surrounded by them can then be replaced by four speakers Sp1 , Sp2 , Sp3 , Sp4 . Therefore, the present invention mainly uses four speakers to synthesize a virtual sound source, wherein the virtu...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for simplifying a five-loudspeaker system to a four-loudspeaker system. The method comprises the following steps of arranging a substitutive loudspeaker group including four loudspeakers, obtaining a signal distributed by synthesizing four loudspeakers into one virtual sound source, simulating the virtual sound source by using a loudspeaker, wherein the four loudspeakers and the virtual sound source are on the same spherical surface, and a sphere center position of the spherical surface is a receiving point; calculating initial distribution coefficients of the four loudspeakers and determining a final distribution coefficient; for a multi-sound channel system including four loudspeakers, applying the initial signal of single loudspeaker and the corresponding signal distributed by the loudspeakers in the step 1. The conventional method for synthesizing Ando four loudspeakers into one virtual sound source gives a series of loudspeaker distribution coefficients, but does not give the optimal loudspeaker distribution coefficient. The method disclosed by the invention can obtain the optical distribution coefficient for synthesizing four loudspeakers into one virtual sound source, and is beneficial to improving effects for synthesizing the virtual sound source.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of acoustics, and in particular relates to a method for simplifying a five-speaker system into a four-speaker system. Background technique [0002] With the development of 3D TV and 3D movie technology, 3D audio technology has become a research hotspot in the field of multimedia. Three-dimensional panning is a technique that uses several speakers in a three-dimensional sound field to create a virtual sound source. Among the three-dimensional panning methods, a vector based amplitude panning technique (vector based amplitude panning abbreviated as VBAP) is widely recognized. In three-dimensional VBAP, the virtual sound source is synthesized by three speakers, the starting point is at the receiving point, and the unit vector at the end point of the virtual sound source can be linearly represented by three other vectors (the starting point of each vector is at the receiving point, and the end point is at each The posit...
