The invention provides a needle assembly storage device (2), which includes: a housing (2.1) having a first port (2.6) and a second port (2.7); a first reel (1.7.1), a first reel rotatably arranged in the housing (2.1) and adapted to support a storage unit (1) of a needle assembly; a second reel (1.7.2) rotatably arranged in the housing (2.1) and adapted to support a storage unit (1) of a needle assembly; said storage unit (1) in said housing (2.1) and adapted to support said needle assembly; and an actuator (2.3) adapted to rotate said first reel (1.7.1 ) or a second reel (1.7.2) to advance the storage unit (1) past the first port (2.6) and the second port (2.7).
