Abstract

There is provided a hybrid vehicle that is configured to transmit a driving force generated by a driving engine and a motor generator via a driving force transmission mechanism to a drive shaft. A drive engine warm-up condition judgment means is configured to determine a warm-up state of the driving engine. A request driving force adjusting means is configured to adjust a required driving force in accordance with a request of a driver. A target driving engine operating point setting means is configured to calculate a target driving engine power and a target charge / discharge power to output the required driving force; to calculate a target driving engine operating point based on the target driving engine power; and set a target rotation speed of the engine and a target engine torque in dependence on the calculated target driving engine operating point. A change means is configured to calculate a target torque of the motor generator when the driving engine is started, so that a target rotation speed of the driving engine is achieved and a feedback gain for computing the target torque is changed in accordance with the warm-up state of the driving engine.
