Abstract

A granulator shear-pin safety mechanism comprises a granulator support or a gearbox (1). The granulator support or the gearbox (1) is provided with a shear-pin guard (2), a granulator main shaft (10) penetrates through the shear-pin guard (2), the end surface of the shear-pin guard (2) is covered with a shear-pin flange (3) fixedly connected with the granulator main shaft (10), and several shear pins (4) are arranged between the shear-pin flange (3) and the shear-pin guard (2). The shear-pin guard (2) is provided with a travel switch (5) for monitoring rotation of the shear-pin flange (3), the travel switch (5) is connected with a power control device of the granulator, the granulator stops working when the shear-pin flange (3) shifts, and a shield (6) covered on the tail end of the main shaft (10) is hinged to the shear-pin guard (2).
