Abstract

The apparatus comprises a camera, a light source, an image acquisition card and a computer; the camera and the light source are installed above a sample plate of the continuous casting slab at a certain angle; the data output terminal of the camera is connected with the image acquisition card; the data output terminal of the image acquisition card is connected with the data input terminal of the computer; and the computer performs image processing on multiple acquired images, calculates the dimension of a crack defect and outputs a detection result.
