The embodiment of the application provides a double-exchange plane

data processing. The double-exchange plane
data processing device comprises an interface module, a receiving and scheduling unit, two service
processing units, a shared cache unit and an interface output unit. The receiving and scheduling unit is used for merging at least one
data slice of the same data packet, and sending the obtained merged data to the service
processing unit corresponding to the exchange plane to which the
data slice belongs. Each service
processing unit is used for processing the obtained to-be-forwarded data according to the merged data, saving the to-be-forwarded data to the shared cache unit, and sending the control information of the
complete data packet to the interface output unit. The interface output unit is used for reading the to-be-forwarded data from the shared cache unit according to the control information and forwarding the to-be-forwarded data. The shared cache unit is used for storing the data of the double-exchange plane, and the design cost of the network switching
chip can be effectively reduced.
