Abstract

The present invention provides a method and a device for across-system interoperation, and relates to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: receiving a first message comprising first wireless network information of a core network, generating second wireless network information according to an air interface protocol and the first wireless network information of the core network in the first message, and sending the second wireless network information to a user equipment. In the present invention, second wireless network information is generated according to an air interface protocol and first wireless network information of a core network in a received first message and the second wireless network information is sent, or fourth wireless network information is generated according to an interface protocol of a terrestrial interface and third wireless network information of a user equipment in the received second message and the fourth wireless network information is sent; in this manner, across-system decoupling of the terrestrial interface and the air interface is implemented, across-system integration is implemented, and inter-system operation signaling and time delay are reduced, and accordingly, decoupling of network standards between an NAS interface, the air interface and the terrestrial interface is implemented, thereby forming a real Single RAN integrating multiple network standards.
