Embodiment Construction

[0079] The autoinjector will be described below with reference to various variants of its two advantageous embodiments. The first embodiment is shown in Figures 1 to 46 , the second implementation is shown in Figures 47 to 74c . However, it should be noted that auto-injectors are complex instruments with multiple modules for various functions. These various modules can be used independently of each other without necessarily being combined with other modules, especially in autoinjectors having shapes other than those shown in the figures.

[0080] refer to figure 1 , the various components of the autoinjector according to the first advantageous embodiment are shown in an exploded manner. In this first embodiment, in the order of the numerical designations, the autoinjector has a central body 1, a control ring 2, a piercing spring 3, a control sleeve 4, a piston rod 5, a bearing head 6, three balls here in the form of A lock 7, an injection spring 8, a control slider 9, a...

Abstract

The invention relates to an autoinjector that receives a pre-filled syringe, said autoinjector comprising a central body (1) and an actuator sleeve (11) provided with one end that is intended to come into contact with the user. According to the invention, the actuator sleeve (11) can be moved between projecting and actuation positions and it is in the projecting position prior to and following the actuation of the autoinjector. Injection means (5, 8) are provided to inject the product when the needle is inserted into the user's body. The autoinjector also comprises a barrel movement device (2, 4, 9) in order to (i) move the needle into the injection position and (ii) retract the needle from the body following injection. The movement device includes a control ring (2) rotatably mounted in the central body (1), said ring (2) comprising an inclined internal profile (24) that engages with an internal projection (44) of a control sleeve (4) that can move axially in the central body (1), such that the sleeve (4) moves axially when the ring (2) is rotated.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to automatic injectors. Background technique [0002] Autoinjectors are well known in the art. These devices are primarily intended to automatically inject the contents of a syringe into a patient. Various systems exist for automatically inserting a needle into a patient and infusing a fluid formulation contained in a syringe. Autoinjectors are relatively complex devices which have to accommodate a certain number of constraints for safety and reliability. The robustness of the device, its ease of handling and its user-friendliness for its use are also important factors. In addition, most of these auto-injectors are single-use, and production and assembly costs should also be considered factors. [0003] There are many auto-injectors on the market, however, they have a considerable number of disadvantages. [0004] Therefore, in order to avoid untimely triggering of the autoinjector, for example during transport or dur...
