The wireless communicating module coupled to the battery management system, is configured for establishing a wireless link with a portable device and for receiving an instruction associated with an access credential from the portable device through the wireless link. The control module coupled with the wireless communicating module, is configured for determining whether the access credential provides a right to control the electric vehicle based on the instruction received by the wireless communicating module and for controlling the electric vehicle according to the instruction from the portable device if the access credential provides the right to control the electric vehicle.
