Embodiment Construction

[0031] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention.

[0032] see figure 1 , in one embodiment a robot charging system is provided. The system includes: a robot 101 and a charging device 102 . The robot 101 is a mobile robot, which can be wheeled or crawler-type, or a humanoid robot that walks with two feet, or an aerial unmanned aerial vehicle. The charging device 102 is an intelligent charging device pre-installed at a specific location, for example, it can be installed at a bus stop or in a shopping mall. For a scene where the robot is an aerial drone, the charging device can be installed on the top of the building. The human-machine can be charg...

Abstract

The invention discloses a charging method for a robot. The charging method for the robot comprises the following steps: sending a charging request to a charging device through wireless communication by the robot; obtaining a position of the charging device after the charging device permits the robot to be charged; confirming a moving route according to self-position and the position of the charging device by the robot; allowing the robot to move to the position of the charging device and be in butt jointing with the charging device to ensure that the charging device charges the robot. The invention further discloses a charging system for the robot. Through implementing the technical scheme provided by the invention, the robot can be charged automatically and the sustainable working ability of the robot is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of intelligent technology, in particular to a method and system for charging a robot. Background technique [0002] A robot is a machine device that performs work automatically. It can accept human command, run pre-programmed programs, and act according to principles formulated with artificial intelligence technology. Its mission is to assist or replace humans in their work. [0003] With the development of science and technology, there will be more and more robots serving humans in the future life. In the process of robots working, maintaining sufficient power is a necessary prerequisite. Typically, mobile robots are powered by batteries. When the power of the robot is insufficient, it needs to be charged manually. Therefore, the charging of the robot is inconvenient, and the power may even be cut off during the execution of the task, which makes the robot's sustainable working ability relatively low. Contents o...
