The present invention relates to dedicated audio streaming at the point of sale. A point-of-sale system comprising: a transceiver; an exciter; and a processing unit; wherein the transceiver is configured to, upon activation of the exciter, detect a radio frequency signal transmitted from at least one device; wherein the processing unit is configured to for associating measurements with each of the at least one device, selecting a device from the at least one device for reception of the audio stream based on the measurements of devices satisfying at least one selection criterion, and operating transceiving machine to stream audio to the selected device.
