Abstract

The invention discloses an application of kainic acid in preparation of anti-cryptosporidium-baileyi medicines. An application method performed by the inventors comprises the following steps: preparing powder by using kainic acid and acceptable auxiliary materials, adding the powder into a feed, uniformly mixing, and feeding Lingnan yellow chicken according to a daily feed quantity, wherein the adding amount is that 4g of kainic acid needs to be added into per 100kg of the feed; or preparing kainic acid into water-soluble powder, dissolving the powder into water, and feeding a white mouse according to the daily water-drinking amount under the condition that the adding amount equals to dissolving 2g of kainic acid into per 100kg of water. Confirmed by animal infection experiments, the oocyst excreting quantity of cryptosporidium baileyi can be reduced by more than 78% by adding kainic acid; and kainic acid has relatively good anti-cryptosporidium effects.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new application of small molecules, in particular to the application of kainic acid in the preparation of anti-Cryptosporidium beinii medicaments. Background technique [0002] Cryptosporidiosis is one of the common parasitic diseases of poultry and wild birds. At present, there are 3 recognized effective species of Cryptosporidium parasitized in poultry: Cryptosporidium beinii ( Cryptosporidium. ), Cryptosporidium turkey ( C. meleagridis ) and Cryptosporidium gallinarum ( C. galli ). Among them, Cryptosporidium beinii is the dominant species infecting poultry. It mainly parasitizes the larynx, trachea, bursa and cloaca of poultry, causing respiratory and digestive tract lesions, resulting in decreased production performance and even death. When it is accompanied by immunosuppressive diseases or co-infection with other respiratory and gastrointestinal pathogens, it will cause more serious economic losses. [0003] In ...
