Abstract

The invention discloses a composite ceramic toughened ceramic brick with a humidity adjusting function and a production method thereof. The ceramic brick comprises a surface material layer and a bottom material layer from top to bottom, wherein the surface material layer is prepared from high ignition lost plastic mud, diatomaceous shale, vermiculite, bauxite, attapulgite and micro-alumina whisker; the bottom material is formed by a ceramic low-temperature powder having firing shrinkage coefficient which is basically accordant with that of the surface material. According to the production method, the ceramic brick is prepared by firing at low temperature after molding, a glass phase is not generated in the surface material layer, pores are not blocked, fine cracks are generated on submicron moisture-absorption pores since expansion coefficients among the raw materials are not matched so as to reinforce the moisture absorption and release capability of the product; and the strength of the brick can be guaranteed after the bottom material layer is sintered.
