The method comprises the steps of determining relevant parameters of cables and equivalent circuits of cable lumped parameters; determining the grounding mode of detected cables and measuring actual voltage and current of normally running cables; judging the laying mode of maintained cables and treatment all the laid segmented maintained cables; selecting the mutual inductance calculation formula according to the grounding mode of the detected cables and calculating mutual inductance; calculating the induced voltage and the induced current generated by the normally running cables to the maintained cables in the longitudinal direction of the cables according to the mutual inductance by utilizing the calculation formulas of the induced voltage and the induced current; superposing the induced voltage generated by the normally running cables to the detected cables in the longitudinal direction of the cables and obtaining the superposed result to serve as the induced voltage of the detected cables in the longitudinal direction; judging whether the induced voltage is the overvoltage or not, giving relevant maintenance advice to maintainers and preventing the generated induced overvoltage from possibly injuring bodies of the maintainers.
