Abstract
Present invention relates to a two phase blend of polypropylene homopolymer with high molecular weight thermoplastic elastomer according having an optimum balance of processability, softness, transparency and low n-hexane extractables thus enabling the resin to be used in food packaging applications. The material is ideal for injection mouldable articles, in particular for producing injection mouldable soft tubes for food packaging applications. The material can also be used for cosmetic and pharmaceutical packaging.
