Embodiment Construction

[0031] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the examples, which are not intended to limit the present invention.

[0032] 1. System description

[0033] The system structure applied in this embodiment is as follows figure 1 Shown: The implementation of this system includes three main parts: the sender based on explicit rate control, the switch with flow scheduling function and the receiver that returns control information.

[0034] Based on the sender of explicit rate control, when sending a data packet, add at least flow information including the sending rate Rs, the expected average sending rate Ar, and the size Size of the current flow F at the end of the packet; and after receiving the data packet, Adjust the sending rate of the sending end according to the received sending rate Rs;

[0035] A switch with a flow scheduling function is used to update the flow state table of the switch before forwarding the received data packe...

Abstract

The invention discloses a network transmission method and system based on minimum completion time. The system comprises a sending end based on clear rate control, a switch with a flow scheduling function and a receiving end for returning control information. By use of all flow information of already congested links of a router, through adoption of a coefficient expansion method based on the minimum completion time, priorities are distributed for all flows on the links, and through cooperation with the sending end and the receiving end, online flow scheduling and distributed rate control are realized. The invention brings forward a measurement mode of taking a completion time expansion coefficient as network transmission efficiency for describing the distance between actually obtained congestion resources from a certain flow and the reality. Through a minimum completion time expansion coefficient algorithm, the flow scheduling is enabled to be relatively fair, based on this, the average task completion time of a data center is reduced, and the network transmission efficiency of the data center is effectively improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a network transmission protocol, in particular to a data center-based network transmission method. Background technique [0002] In recent years, data centers have gradually become the underlying infrastructure for many interactive online services, such as web search, social networking, and advertising. These services often have strict latency requirements, and the response to user requests must be fast enough. Relevant data for these tasks need to be transmitted through network streams. Relevant scholars at home and abroad have proposed methods from various aspects, such as fair sharing protocols similar to TCP, shortest flow priority scheduling protocols, etc., to speed up the completion of tasks. However, these solutions more or less have some defects. Therefore, how to design an efficient flow scheduling protocol, reduce or avoid design defects, and improve transmission efficiency has become an important research issue fo...
