The method comprises the following steps: when the alarm clock of the mobile terminal is turned on, the distance sensor is started; under the condition that the distance sensor senses a target body signal, the alarm clock of the mobile terminal is turned off and is turned on after the first preset time interval is delayed, circularly repeating the steps till the number of delaying times reaches the first preset threshold value. The system comprises a distance sensor module and a delay module, wherein the distance sensor module is used for starting the distance sensor when the alarm clock of the mobile terminal is turned on; the delaying module is used for turning off the alarm clock of the mobile terminal and turning off the alarm clock after the first preset time interval is delayed under the condition that the distance sensor senses the target body signal, and circularly repeating the step till the number of delaying times reaches the first preset threshold value. The alarm clock is turned off, without manually touching a screen, the problem of oversleeping due to direct turning off of the alarm clock is solved, and the user experience is improved.
