Abstract

The present invention relates to methods and systems for fuel vapor management. Methods and systems are provided for increasing the efficiency of canister pumping completions. Based on engine operating conditions, the canister is pumped to either the compressor inlet or the throttle outlet. In purge conditions, as the canister load varies, the purge flow through the canister is varied such that a fixed preselected portion of the total engine fuel supply is delivered as fuel vapor.
