Abstract

The invention discloses a video transmission congestion control method based on MPTCP in a heterogeneous wireless network. The method of the invention comprises the steps as follows: establishing a congestion predicating model at a transmitting end firstly; predicating whether a link congestion will occur or not according to variation tendency of round trip delay of a link and adjusting the size of a congestion window; then establishing a bandwidth estimation model at the transmitting end, and judging link quality according to receipt time of adjacent ACK confirmation packets and a bandwidth estimated value obtained by successfully receiving data byte number with the transmitting end; finally establishing a congestion window adjusting model at the transmitting end, and correspondingly adjusting the size of the congestion window and a congestion threshold value according to the bandwidth estimated value of each link and a packet loss condition. The method of the invention could differentiate the link packet loss reasons so as to effectively solve the problem that the throughput capacity of a video flowing is relative low in a wireless channel with high packet loss probability.
