The blood smearing machine comprises a sample adding device, a detecting device, a smear, and a controlling device; the controlling device is used for receiving counting results of blood to be tested, determining sample adding parameters based on the counting results, and controlling the sample adding device to add blood to be tested onto a carry sheet glass dropwise based on the sample adding parameters; the detecting device is used for detecting diffusion time of blood to be tested on the carry sheet glass; and the controlling device is also used for determining smearing parameters based on the counting results and diffusion time of blood to be tested, and controlling the smear to move relatively to the carry sheet glass based on the smearing parameters so as to obtain blood smears. The concentration of blood to be tested is reflected by counting results of blood to be tested; the viscosity of blood to be tested is reflected by blood diffusion time; the smearing parameters are determined via combination of the concentration and viscosity of blood to be tested; and blood characteristics of blood to be tested are taken into consideration fully; so that high-quality blood smears can be prepared.
