Abstract

The application provides a method and a system for connecting DB2 databases in a Unix operation system. The method comprises: firstly, configuring various parameters required for a java connection, wherein the parameters include parameters of the Unix operation system, a java environment and parameters of the DB2 databases in the Unix operation system; secondly, in a java program, declaring a class name of a connection drive library of the DB2 databases, and initializing the class name; and finally, in the java program, declaring a connection string of a jdbc data source corresponding to the class of the connection drive library, and connecting the DB2 databases. According to the method and the system, the class name of the drive library and the connection string of the corresponding jdbc data source are declared in the java program, so that the DB2 databases are connected by utilizing the java program in the Unix operation system.
