Abstract

The invention provides a control system based on a DMX512 protocol. The control system comprises a DMX512 master controller, a data bus, N node controllers (N>=1) and controlled electric appliances. The DMX512 master controller and the node controllers form a bus network. Each node controller comprises a control signal input end, a control signal output end, an address signal input end and an address signal output end. The control signal input ends are connected with the data bus; and the control signal output ends are connected with the controlled electric appliances; the address signal input end of the nth node controller is connected with the address signal output end of the (n-1)th node controller (1<n<=N); the control system also comprises end identification marks; and the address signal input end of the first node controller and the address signal output end of the Nth node controller are connected with the end identification marks. The invention also provides a control method of the control system. According to the technical scheme, address writing is directly controlled through the master controller; the address writing process does not need the participation of men; and address writing can be done quickly.
