The self-heating cigarette comprises a cigarette body and a heater inserted into the cigarette body from a cut tobacco end, the heater comprises a handle, a hollow pipe and a heat conducting pipe, the heat conducting pipe is filled with heating powder which generates heat when encountering water, a first end, inserted into the cigarette body, of the heat conducting pipe is a sharp end from which cut tobacco is pierced into while a second end of the same is hermetically connected with a first end of the hollow pipe, a second end of the hollow pipe is hermetically connected with the handle, a breaking line is arranged between the handle and the second end of the hollow pipe, the hollow pipe is filled with a water solution, and when the handle is broken along the breaking line, the water solution flows out of the hollow pipe. A novel smoking mode is provided for smokers, no open fire is generated, potential safety hazards are avoided, and second-hand smoke generated during smoking can be reduced effectively.
