Abstract

The invention relates to a portable electronic device. The portable electronic device comprises a housing, a touch control sensing unit and at least one function circuit. The housing is provided with a first surface, a second surface and a third surface. The touch control sensing unit is arranged in the housing and used for sensing multiple touch control gestures above the first surface, the second surface and the third surface in order to correspondingly generate at least one control signal. The at least one function circuit is arranged in the housing and in signal connection with the touch control sensing unit and used for operating according to control signals. The portable electronic device has following beneficial effects: because of multiple touch control surfaces, an operation problem of a conventional portable device can be effectively improved; by utilizing configurations of the multiple touch control surfaces and capturing multi-dimensional information, a thumb and an index finger of a signal hand of a user can fulfill all functions that can only be achieved by double hands on a mobile phone or a tablet computer; or, the purpose of conveniently controlling is fulfilled by simultaneously changing multiple adjusting parameters when a single finger is used for operating on a touch control surface.
