A current differential protection saturation distinguishing method comprises the steps of: (1) adopting a short data window fast algorithm to calculate differential current variation, brake current variation and voltage variation; (2) adopting a half-wave integration algorithm to calculate differential current variation, brake current variation and voltage variation; (3) adopting original sampling values to calculate relation between current on the local side and current on the opposite side; (4) and adopting Fourier steady state quantity to calculate vectorial relation between the current on the local side and the current on the opposite side.
