Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a processing method for a network communication function abnormality. The processing method comprises the following steps: after receiving an abnormal indication message transmitted by a modem by an application processor, acquiring a first protocol stack currently used by the modem, wherein the abnormal indication message means that the modem detects a memory access error; closing the first protocol stack by the application processor, and selecting a second protocol stack except the first protocol stack from a plurality of protocol stacks which are supported by the modem; opening the second protocol stack by the application processor, and using the second protocol stack to perform network registration; and if the network registration is successful, recording current position information by the application processor. The embodiment of the invention further discloses the application processor and a mobile terminal.
