Abstract

The invention provides a rotation detector comprising a sensor, a two-way speed measuring device and a data processing module. The two-way speed measuring device is arranged in a detected object, and can rotate synchronously with the detected object. The data processing module and the sensor are electrically connected. The sensor is arranged to face the two-way speed measuring device, and can detect the rotation of the two-way speed measuring device. The sensor generates a first detection signal when the two-way speed measuring device rotates clockwise, and the sensor generates a second detection signal different from the first detection signal when the two-way speed measuring device rotates counterclockwise, wherein the first detection signal and the second detection signal can be transmitted by the sensor to the data processing module. The data processing module is arranged to determine the rotation direction of the two-way speed measuring device according to the first detection signal or the second detection signal and calculate the rotation speed of the two-way speed measuring device.
