Embodiments of the invention disclose an information management method and apparatus for an ERP system. The information management method and apparatus are used for solving the problem of difficulty in positioning a script file of an ERP system in the prior art to improve the management efficiency. The method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises: traversing control files in a control system and analyzing the control files to obtain an executive sequence of script files in the control files; according to the executive sequence, analyzing the script files in the control files to generate corresponding structural description information and relevant file information; and combining the script files with the corresponding structural description information and relevant file information to obtain analyzed information, and storing the analyzed information into a database.
