Abstract

The invention provides a method and a registration node for managing application resources in an M2M (Machine to Machine) communication. The method comprises the following steps that: an AE (Application Entity) or a CSE (Common Service Entity) sends a node resource creating request to a registered CSE in order to request resources for an application node where the AE is located or an intermediate node where the CSE is located, wherein the node resource creating request comprises an AE identifier of the AE or a CSE identifier of the CSE, a node identifier and a type of created resources; and the registered CSE creates node resources for the application node or the intermediate node, and establishes an association relationship between AE resources being already created for the AE and the currently-created node resources, or establishes an association relationship between CSE resources being already created for the CSE and the currently-created node resources, wherein properties of the AE resources comprise the AE identifier, and properties of the CSE resources comprise the CSE identifier. Through adoption of the method and the registration node, the AE resources and the node where the AE resources are located as well as the CSE resources and the node where the CSE resources are located are associated on the registered CSE.
