The invention discloses a frequency locking method of a frequency locking loop of a receiver, comprising following steps: generating multi-way middle frequency carriers according to frequency control words; carrying out down-conversion processing to input signals by using every way of the multi-way middle frequency carriers to obtain multi-way base band signals; accumulating every way of the multi-way base band signals to obtain multi-way accumulation signals; carrying out frequency discrimination to the multi-way accumulation signals to determine frequency discrimination signals; and determining locking carrier signals according to the frequency discrimination signals. The invention also discloses a frequency locking device of the frequency locking loop of the receiver. In adoption of the invention, the mistaken frequency locking problem of the frequency locking loop resulted from high dynamic of the receiver is solved.
