The invention provides a bookmark storage method and a browser to response an instruction of storing a current browsing page as a bookmark. A current browsing page label and bookmark can be acquired; the label and the bookmark can be correspondingly stored; the label is employed to a current browsing interface and displays features of the current browsing page; according to the storage method, features of the page displayed by the label can be acquired by the user. Based on the label storage method and the browser, the invention further discloses a responding method and browser to the bookmark operation instruction to response a first operation instruction of the bookmark, to display the interface and to response a second operation instruction received on the interface. Based on the storage method, when the user operates the bookmark, features of the page displayed by the bookmark can be acquire, so blind or unnecessary operation can be avoided for the user and bookmark managing or use efficiency can be improved; and the mobile browser can be more intelligent and resource waste can be reduced.
