The degradable green plant felt comprises a degradable non-woven fabric composite layer and a water storage nanofiber layer which are arranged from bottom to top. The degradable non-woven fabric composite layer comprises a top sheet and a bottom sheet. A plurality of vertical separation sheets are arranged between the top sheet and the bottom sheet. The space between the top sheet and the bottom sheet is divided into a plurality of independent cavities through the vertical separation sheets. The independent cavities are filled with plant fiber powder, and the tops of the independent cavities are fully provided with through holes. The water storage nanofiber layer is a crude fiber layer and fine fiber layer assembly made from polylactic acid in a melt-blowing mode. A crude fiber layer serves as an upper layer, and the diameter of fibers ranges from 700 nm to 900 nm. A fine fiber layer serves as a lower layer, and the diameter of fibers ranges from 300 nm to 500 nm. The invention further provides a making method of the degradable green plant felt.
