Embodiment Construction

[0040] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0041] like figure 1 Shown is the flow chart of the method of the present invention.

[0042] This patent is generally divided into four steps:

[0043] 1) collecting road image data;

[0044] 2) Lane center line detection

[0045] 3) Hough transform detection straight line;

[0046] 4) Screening lane lines;

[0047] In step 1), the road image data is collected in real time by the camera in the car;

[0048] Step 2) is divided into three steps:

[0049] like figure 2 Shown is the flow chart of lane centerline detection in the present invention.

[0050] a) Select the region of interest in the collected road image. Due to the complex background on both sides of the lane, it is not conducive to the detection of lane lines, and the road information is mainly concentrated in the position directly in front of the vehicle, that is, the pos...

Abstract

The invention relates to a lane line detection method based on Hough transform. The method comprises the following steps that an in-car camera collects road image data in real time; a central line of a lane line is detected according to the collected road image data; a straight line where the lane line is placed is detected by utilizing a straight line detection algorithm of Hough transform; and straight lines detected via Hough transform are screened to obtain the straight lane lines. Compared with edge detection, central line detection in the invention has the advantages that half of original object points can be omitted, the possibility that multiple straight lines are found for one lane line is reduced, and the complexity of the subsequent screening algorithm is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of intelligent driving, in particular to a lane line detection method based on Hough transform. Background technique [0002] Vision-based road marking extraction has always been an important part of the field of intelligent driving. Its job is to separate the traffic lane from the background according to the color, shape and texture features of the lane line from the video information obtained by the vehicle camera, so as to obtain information such as the direction of the traffic lane and the position of the vehicle relative to the traffic lane. The existing lane detection algorithms can be roughly divided into lane area detection method, feature-driven method and model matching method, among which the most widely used method is the model-based Hough transform method. [0003] The general process of the lane line detection method based on Hough transform is as follows: [0004] 1) collecting road images; [0005] ...
