Abstract

The present invention discloses a data stream migration method in data center network updating. The method comprises the steps of searching all feasible shortest paths for each new data stream in a network as the candidate paths, or for each new data stream, searching a candidate path capable for accommodating the data stream in the network on the condition of migrating one data stream. How a feasible network state is searched does not need to be considered, so that an updating sequence does not need to be designed and executed carefully. By scheduling each new data stream locally, the feasible shortest paths are distributed for the new data streams, and the cost is only the migration of one additional data stream. Meanwhile, one data stream passing all bottleneck links is selected to migrate, thereby improving the updating efficiency, guaranteeing that the data traffic of the additional data stream is little as much as possible, and reducing the migrated data traffic. According to the present invention, an objective data traffic matrix does not need to be searched in the whole network, and a series of transition states also do not need to be searched between an initial state and an objective state of the network.
