A hyperspectral image detection cabin provided with illumination compensation is disclosed. The hyperspectral image detection cabin comprises a sample table, and also comprises a lampshade the top of which is provided with a detection inlet, and at least two light sources having different spectral bands. The lampshade is disposed on the sample table. The edge of the lampshade is tightly adhered to the surface of the sample table. The inner wall of the lampshade is a diffuse reflection surface. The light sources are disposed on the sample table, and light of the light sources is emitted to the diffuse reflection surface of the lampshade. The invention also discloses a detector including the hyperspectral image detection cabin provided with illumination compensation and a method of performing spectrum image detection for small-size samples by utilizing the detector. The method improves illumination uniformity, directionality removal, and other properties, effectively compensates spectrum response effects collected by hyperspectral camera data through adjusting spectral characteristics of the light sources, builds a balanced, stable and repeatable image and spectrum detection environment, and is particularly suitable for hyperspectral image collection and spectrum calibration tests for small-size samples.
