Abstract

The application discloses a method and a device for coding uplink control information (UCI). The method comprises the following steps: first, UE (User Equipment) generates a bit sequence U to be transmitted on an uplink sub-frame i of a cell c according to UCI to be fed back on the uplink sub-frame i of the cell c; then, the bit sequence U is interlaced to get a bit sequence V; and finally, the bit sequence V is coded in a convolutional manner. The application further discloses a method and a device for determining the transmission power of UCI. The method comprises the following steps: first, UE generates a bit sequence corresponding to an uplink sub-frame i of a cell c according to UCI to be fed back on the uplink sub-frame i of the cell c; then, channel coding is performed on the bit sequence; and finally, the needed uplink transmission power is calculated and mapped to a corresponding uplink channel for transmission. By employing the methods and the devices of the invention, the occurrence of continuous known bits in UCI is avoided, so that when convolutional coding is adopted, the resources of PUCCH can be fully utilized, the performance of UCI transmission can be optimized, and optimal transmission power can be set for UE.
