Abstract

The invention provides a paired list generation method and an electronic device. The method comprises the following steps of: searching at least one first device, which belongs to a first sub-network together with the electronic device, and thereby, generating a first list; scanning at least one access point near the electronic device, and thereby, generating a first access point list; uploading the first access point list to a server, and receiving a second list returned by the server, wherein the second list comprises at least one second device; and furthermore, the similarity of a second access point list and the first access point list of various second devices is greater than a pre-set threshold value; and combining the first list with the second list so as to generate a paired list including at least one device to be paired. By means of the embodiment of the invention, users can easily complete pairing of two devices under a condition that the users do not register or log in an account number; furthermore, even the two devices belong to different sub-networks, the opposite side still can be found out smoothly; and thus, pairing of the two devices is completed.
