Abstract

The invention relates to an elevator control device. Elevator control devices can be further improved in the prior art for preventing crimes of suspected persons entering buildings. The elevator control device comprises a storage portion, a camera portion, a judgement portion, and an operation control portion. The storage portion saves reference face images obtained by capturing images of faces of users of an elevator beforehead. The camera portion is arranged at a riding portion of the elevator or at least one side inside an elevator car and captures images of faces of users riding the elevator car. The judgement portion compares the captured face images of the users with the reference face images of the users saved in the storage portion and judges whether the captured images are consistent with the reference images on the basis of the comparison results. The operation control portion makes the elevator car to open the door and standby when the captured images are inconsistent with the reference images.
