A microwave digestion pretreatment method is adopted, a flame atomic absorption spectrometer is used to measure contents of copper, zinc, iron, magnesium and calcium in digestion liquid, and the degree of selective absorption of light of characteristic spectral lines by to-be-measured metal elements is proportional to the concentrations of the elements in a solution within a certain range. By measurement of absorbance of ground state atoms of the elements under the selected spectral lines, the concentrations of the elements in a sample are measured, and a standard curve method is adopted to measure the contents of the elements. According to the method, the contents of the microelements in the xuefuzhuyu pills can be detected quickly, simply, efficiently and accurately, and a certain basis is provided for discussion of a relationship between the microelements and functions of the xuefuzhuyu pills.
