Abstract

The invention discloses a coefficient model for correcting the body size of a breeding pig. The coefficient model is characterized in that a body height or body length correction equation is shown as follows: corrected body height or body length of the 115 Kg of breeding pig=measured body height or body length*[A-B*(measured body weight / 100)]; the correction of the body length or the body height through taking the body weight of the pig as an independent variable is more superior to that based on the age in days. Parental calibration coefficients of a Duroc pig, a Landrace pig and a large white pig are included. The analysis and the study on the measured data on the body length and the body height of a foreign pig are performed to obtain a body length and body height correction formula and coefficient. Simple regression analysis is performed on data taken within the scope of a certain body weight and the age in days to obtain a regression equation, and the correction coefficient is obtained by utilizing the regression equation. The obtained body size correction coefficient provides a more reliable guarantee for an inventor in aspect of the future body size breeding of the pig and simultaneously provides a reference for related body size study. The correction formula is convenient and practical and has the characteristic of data continuity point prediction, namely any measured value within the scope can obtain a corrected value.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for calibrating the body size of breeding pigs, in particular to a coefficient model for calibrating the body size of breeding pigs. Background technique [0002] (1) Overview of pig breeds: [0003] China is a big pig breeding country, from the most primitive local breeds to the later imported foreign Duroc breeds, Landrace pigs, and Large White breeds. The data determined by the inventors come from Duroc purebred pigs, Landrace purebred pigs and Large White purebred pigs. The body size, growth and reproductive performance of various breeds of pigs are different. [0004] 1. Duroc [0005] Duroc is native to New Jersey and New York in the eastern United States. The main parent is a hybrid of Duroc from New York State and Jersey Red from New Jersey. It was originally called Duroc Jersey and later collectively called Duroc. Duroc was originally a fat-type pig, and was later bred into a lean-type breed. It is browni...
