Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic reading device of a micrometer. The automatic reading device comprises a base, a mechanical shell, a rotary shaft, a gauge head seat, a gauge head and a motor, wherein the mechanical shell is arranged on the base; the rotary shaft is arranged in the mechanical shell; the gauge head seat is arranged on the rotary shaft; the gauge head is arranged on the gauge head seat and is used for collecting scale line information on a micrometer fixing sleeve and a micro-drum; and the motor is arranged at one end of the rotary shaft and drives the rotary shaft to rotate. According to the automatic reading device of the micrometer, disclosed by the invention, a height difference between the scale line of the micrometer and a micrometer surface is utilized; and in a collection process, the varying value of the length of a retractable spring is recorded. The collected result is processed through software to obtain a final scale value; a manual reading method is replaced and the efficiency of reading the micrometer is improved; and the accuracy of numerical values is improved and a target of replacing people with machines is realized.
