Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: detecting the voltage and current of each unit coil in real time; calculating the power difference between two adjacent unit coils, and calculating the absolute values of power differences between any unit coil and the two adjacent unit coils thereof; and if the absolute values of power differences between any unit coil and the two adjacent unit coils thereof are greater than a power quenching threshold, judging that the unit coil is in a power quenched state. Whether the power of each unit coil is quenched is detected, and the unit coils in a power quenched state are positioned accurately through comparison. Whether the voltage and temperature of each single coil are quenched is detected, and the single coils in a voltage and temperature quenched state are positioned accurately through step-by-step comparison. Electrical quantity detection and non-electrical quantity detection are combined, and the defect of a single quenching detection method is overcome. Meanwhile, a voltage correction coefficient is introduced, and the reliability of superconducting magnet quenching detection is improved greatly.
