Abstract

The invention provides a method for recording error information of PCIE (Peripheral Component Interface Express) equipment. The method is applied to a CPU (Central Processing Unit) of a master control board, wherein the CPU is used for transmitting a message with the PCIE equipment in a single panel through a PCIE bus. The method comprises the step of sending a recording instruction to a pre-configured programmable logic device when the information about a caching error of the CPU is resulted from the fault of the PCIE equipment, thereby recording the statistic mutual information into a preset memory space by the programmable logic device and analyzing the reason for the fault of the PCIE equipment, wherein the mutual information is the information about the message transmitted between the CPU and the PCIE equipment. In the technical scheme provided by the invention, the statistic mutual information is recorded in the preset memory space by the programmable logic device, and the mutual information in the preset memory space is extracted and analyzed when the reason for the fault of the PCIE equipment is subsequently analyzed.
