AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This technology allows clients to allocate their own resources based on factors like how many times they have been called up or what data needs being sent over them (such as sending email). When this happens, it updates an atom pointer with the most recent values from previous requests into one place where more new ones will appear later if there were fewer connections needed again. By calculating these sequences, which represent consecutive integers instead of just integer digits, we aimed at ensuring efficient use of memory space by allowing multiple assignments without failures caused by some other assignment attempts.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the efficiency and reliability (accuracy) of assigning participants' names into an online game world based upon their own identity or through shared resources like coupons. Existing methods require significant effort and may result in failed attempts which impacts overall player experiences negatively.

Abstract

The invention discloses a number distribution method, a server and a system, the distribution server being in communication connection with the cache server. The method comprises the steps of receiving a number distribution request from a client, wherein the number distribution request comprises the quantity of numbers needing to be distributed and a request sequence number; sending the quantity of numbers needing to be distributed to the cache server, instructing the cache server to update a value of an atom cursor in a number information database to a sum of a current value and the quantity of numbers needing to be distributed; acquiring the value after the atom cursor is updated from the number information database in the cache server; computing a sequence ID range of the distributable numbers according to the value after the atom cursor is updated and the quantity of numbers needing to be distributed; and sending the sequence ID range and the request sequence number to the cache server, thus allowing the cache server to update the number distribution request IDs corresponding to the numbers to the request sequence number in batch according to the sequence ID range, and return a successful distribution identifier back to the client.
