Abstract

The invention discloses an octacarboxyl-calix [4] arene based terbium metal complex and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the chemical technical field. The complex is represented by the following chemical formula: [(CH3)2NH2][Tb2(HL)(H2O)7].2H2O, wherein HL is a 2,8,14,20-tetra-amyl-4,6,10,12,16,18,22,24-octa-carboxymethoxy-calix [4] arene anion having seven protons removed. The complex is prepared by a solvothermal method. The fluorescence testing study of the complex indicates that the complex has strong and stable green fluorescence, can realize selective highly efficient detection of organic small molecules N,N'-dimethylformamide and is expected as a fluorescent material to be applied in the field of material science.
