The method comprises the following steps: acquiring electrical information of a circuit which the backup automatic switching apparatus itself belongs to; determining whether load equipartition motion signals sent by another backup automatic switching apparatus are received; if so, when it is determined that buses at the two sides of a section switch satisfy same-period closing conditions according to the electrical information, sending a switch switching-on instruction for switching on the section switch; and after the section switch is switched on, sending a switch switching-off instruction for tripping off a first branch switch which is at an intermediate main transformer low-voltage side and is connected with the section switch.
